The manageral class doesn't view the law the same way ordinary Americans do. To them, it has nothing to do with principles or philosophy. It isn't some requirement for civil society. To them it is a tool to maintain their rule and advance their class interest. When the law is in the way of managerial class interest, it is ignored. When it can be weaponized against those opposed to managerial class rule, it will be. This is why it is so dangerous for the judiciary to be comprised of members of the managerial class. Attorneys that get their first jobs in government then proceed to the bench. No life experience to translate abstract principles of the law into the reality of how the law intersects with the lives of ordinary Americans.
